Charles Wise

Charles has been a licensed therapist for over fifteen years. His education came from the University of Central Florida and Rollins College. Charles was drawn to Defender Ministries as a result of a time of intense physical trial. He lost his voice in the Fall of 2004 due to growths on his vocal cords, and he was no longer able to continue counseling. During that time of silence, God began to show him how His people needed to be called to intimacy with Him. God wants a powerful, intimate relationship with each one of us – but that is robbed due to sin and stress. Through his counseling, Charles also was seeing how the epidemic of pornography was destroying the family and the Church. When both of those callings came together, Defender Ministries was born. Charles is married to Nancy Wise, and they have two children – Caitlin and Adam.
Dale Ziglear

Dale has served in a variety of ministry positions over the last twenty years. He began as a lay leader in his church and then felt called into full-time vocational ministry. In the Christian Church, he has served as a Senior Pastor and Pastor for Spiritual Development. In 2005, Dale felt God moving him into the field of Christian counseling. After completing his training at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Dale joined Pathway Counseling Ministry. He currently serves as co-director of the ministry. Dale has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Mary Lou. They have two grown daughters, two sons in law, and two grandchildren.

Rev. David Staples

In his fifteen years in ministry, David has served as a College Minister, writer, teacher, and a Graphics/Publications Director. What may appear to be a bizarre combination of experience, actually was a divine mixture. David has also seen the damage of pornography and sexual impurity in the college world. In addition, David has a passion for writing and developing resources. When Charles met with David, they realized that God had done something special – bringing different gifts, experiences, and talents together to reach the goal of increasing intimacy with God and shunning sexual temptation of all sorts. David has been married to his wife, Heather, since 2000. They have three children – Josiah, Natalie, and Gabriel.
