What will remain after your time on earth is over?
We all leave legacies. Our decisions, behaviors, words, investments. These are not static actions. Our life is not lived in a vacuum. We are like a stone thrown in a pool – the ripples expand out and affect our wives, our children, our families, our friends, our coworkers, our world.
Legacy: An inheritance, a heritage, a gift, an endowment
The legacy we leave can be a positive thing. It can enrich the lives of those that follow. We can lay a foundation of faith that is strong enough to build generations upon. No matter what, we ARE setting an example for our children to follow. It can be one that leads them to Christ. It can demonstrate how to be a loving father, a supportive husband, a humble servant, a strong man of integrity. We can be a living representation of the love of God. We can be a model, a blueprint for our children to use as a guide on how to establish their own godly families. We can fulfill the calling God has placed on us as men – to lead our families in righteousness.
Legacy: A consequence, an effect, a repercussion, an aftermath
The legacy we leave can be a negative thing. It can be like a bomb thrown into the lives of those that follow. We can lay a shaky foundation of sand that will cripple future generations. No matter what, we ARE setting an example for our children to follow. It can be one that leads them away from Christ. It can demonstrate how to wound and maim and destroy. It can show how to be a unforgiving father, a neglectful husband, a narcissistic dictator, a weak man of shifting ethics and morals. We can be a living representation of the selfishness that led to the Fall. We can be a model, a blueprint for our children to use as a guide on how to establish their own damaged families. We can ignore and refuse the calling God has placed on us as men – and we will lead our families to destruction.

What our ministry is all about
Our goal at Legacy Builders Ministry is to equip and empower tomorrow’s leaders today. And it all starts with the men. To accomplish this, we will provide a training approach for Christian leaders focusing on catalyzing intimacy with God, using Biblical teaching, adventure training, team-building elements, and Christian counseling. Legacy Builders events will push and challenge men. We will explore God’s plan for leadership and how modern manhood pales in comparison. We will help men to understand their personal limitations and find God’s strength in their weakness. Those attending will explore how to face and overcome fear, so they can learn to lead beyond their perceived limits. Legacy Builders Ministry will show men the power of influence and help them to experience God’s Grace in action. And, most importantly, we will show them how to repair their families and churches to leave a strong and Godly legacy for future generations.
